Delete Your Data

Winkle is operated by Winkle Sleep, LLC. You can delete your Winkle account and request deletion of your data directly in the app.

How to delete your account or data

To delete your account, open the Winkle app and go to:

Main Menu → Settings → Account → Delete Account

By default, deleting your account removes your Firebase Authentication account, including your login record. Child profiles and sleep or meal data that you created may remain in Winkle’s database so that your data can be restored if you create a new account later.

To delete your child and activity data at the same time, select the optional checkbox labeled:

“Optional: delete all children, including sleep and meal data?”

If selected, Winkle will delete child profiles directly owned by your account, including associated sleep and meal data. This does not delete child profiles that were shared with you by another caregiver, because those profiles are owned by another account.

What data is deleted

If you delete your account only, your login account is deleted, but child and activity data may be retained.

If you also select the optional data-deletion checkbox, Winkle deletes child profiles directly owned by your account, including sleep and meal activity associated with those children.

What data may be kept

Winkle may retain anonymized or aggregated analytics data that cannot reasonably identify you. We may also retain limited information where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or backup purposes.
